The Gulf Educational Foundation and the Ministry of Social Development in Gaza sign a contract for the construction of a project to establish a child protection and care center in Deir Al-Balah, implemented by the contractor Abu Shamala and Abu Dan Contracting Company, funded by the Kuwait Fund for Arab Economic Development in the sisterly State of Kuwait. Under the auspices of the Ministry of Public Works and Housing.
In turn, Dr. Fairouz Sheikh Hashem Al-Khaznadar, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Gulf Educational Foundation, confirmed that this project is one of the important projects that serve childhood and marginalized groups, and will provide distinguished services and programs in the childhood sector. She pointed out that this project has received funding since 2017, from the Kuwait Fund, but it faced several challenges and obstacles that delayed its completion, but thanks to God Almighty and his success, it finally saw the light, and the agreement was signed.
In turn, said Dr. Ghazi Hamad, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Social Development, "We are very happy to complete the contracting contract for this project, which will provide great services to children within different programmes, and we hope that this project will have distinguished results in the early childhood sector."
In turn, confirmed M. Naji Sarhan, Undersecretary of the Ministers of Public Works and Housing, said that the Childhood Protection and Care Center project will present a variety of distinct programs in child protection and child care within various governmental programs, praising the efforts of everyone in completing the contract for this important project. In the end, a contract was signed with Abu Shamala and Abu Dan Company to start the project work.
